Proposed action research

The purpose of my action research study is to inquire about the improvement struggling readers will show with the implementation of our new reading lab.  As a collaborative effort, I conducted a brief survey where I proposed possible action research topic questions in order to gain insights, comments, and suggestions from my colleagues. These efforts are conducive with the “need for stakeholder input” as mentioned in our textbook (Dana, 2009).  From the six proposed topics, we have narrowed them down to three.  These topics include: What improvement will struggling readers show with the implementation of a web-based reading program? Will the implementation of a web-based reading program improve the learning gap for struggling readers? Is a web-based reading program beneficial for struggling readers?
